Permanent lip makeup: expert advice
An integrated approach to a single aesthetic concept of the face

Until recently, lip augmentation was the prerogative of permanent makeup, but the development of injection techniques has fundamentally changed the situation.
The permanent makeup industry is constantly evolving, transforming and cannot be considered separately from an integrated approach to a single aesthetic concept of the face. Until relatively recently, lip augmentation was the prerogative of permanent makeup, but the evolution of injection techniques in aesthetic medicine has fundamentally changed the situation. The combination of permanent makeup with contouring, BTA, dental procedures (for example, to change the bite), various surgical techniques allows you to get a more natural and aesthetic result.
Permanent makeup and fillers
More often than others, permanent makeup and fillers are used together to increase the shape of the lips. Moreover, in the opinion of experts, the procedures should be carried out in the following sequence: permanent makeup - filler - correction of permanent makeup. This is logical, since the effect of the introduction of the filler remains less than that of permanent makeup. In addition, given that many clients turn to permanent makeup to correct lip asymmetry, it is always easier to insert fillers with an already drawn contour.
When increasing the shape of the lips, you must follow a few rules:
1. If the master draws a “new” contour higher than the natural one, in this case it is necessary to carefully paint over the intercontour space.
2. Based on the first paragraph, the "new" contour should not protrude beyond the boundaries of the natural by more than 2 mm.
There is an opinion that permanent makeup contributes to a faster “leaving” of the filler due to skin trauma during the permanent makeup procedure. Most likely, this is a subjective moment associated with an increase in the lips immediately after the pigment injection procedure and with their subsequent decrease during the healing period.
Anti-aging
The folds of "sorrow" are a kind of age marker. Their elimination greatly rejuvenates the face. Due to the correctly drawn shape of the lips, it is possible to achieve a visual uplift of their corners. However, it should be remembered that the main methods of correction still include contour plastic and 3D modeling. The combined use of permanent makeup and tightening techniques gives a wonderful effect.
Drawing a clear white roller (a thin strip that surrounds the outside of the red border of the lips) is a procedure that has long been known in permanent makeup. But to create a white clear roller, various fillers, lipofilling, threads and even implants are also used. Moreover, some experts prefer to strengthen the cupid's arch zone, others prefer to highlight the lateral parts of the upper lip. If we talk only about permanent makeup, then the main task of the specialist is not to overdo it with the brightness of the glare, which will emphasize the volume of the roller, since in other cases it may look like a scar.
Pronounced filtrum grooves can be accentuated with permanent make-up and contouring. In addition, a thread technique is used, when threads are passed through mini-cuts inside the nose and, using a special technique, the upper lip is raised, as a result, the filtrum grooves become more pronounced.
You can smooth out purse-string wrinkles and even out the relief of the skin around the mouth with the help of mesotherapy, biorevitalization, peeling, laser resurfacing, BTA injections, filling wrinkles with gel or your own fat. These are classic techniques. Recommended sequence: permanent makeup, BTA procedure, and then the introduction of the filler, and it is injected both along the contour of the lips and along the wrinkles. Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscle, and the filler removes already formed creases.
But the indisputable advantage of permanent makeup, and by no other procedures, is the creation of various color schemes for the contour and red border of the lips. And here the main task of the specialist is to accurately see the image of the client and meet his expectations.
Thus, the important conditions for the success of permanent makeup masters are the vision of the client's face as a whole, the prediction of results in the course of general aesthetic corrections and, of course, a detailed discussion and informing the client. A well-informed client has realistic expectations and is more likely to be satisfied with the results of the work.
