Microblading: types and differences of techniques

Art that requires filigree handwork

Logo

In the West, eyebrow microblading is called "embroidery". The technique is so filigree that it gives rise to associations with artistic smoothness!

Permanent makeup is an amazing and multifaceted science in which more and more new techniques are constantly appearing and existing ones are actively developing. One of the most popular techniques is microblading. Experienced craftsmen own several types of this technology.

About the advantages and disadvantages of each - in the " ABC of the novice master" .

M - microblading

Hair to hair

The hair version of a shallow permanent tattoo involves the formation of a contour by drawing small strokes. An experienced master, choosing the color of the pigment and the thickness of the stroke, creates beautiful eyebrow arches that are as similar as possible to natural ones. If the drawing is made with high quality, then it is very difficult to distinguish it from natural eyebrows.

There are two ways to perform hair technology :

  • The oriental look is distinguished by a complex way of introducing pigment. Strokes are made in different directions, which makes it possible to imitate the growth of natural hairs.
  • The European look involves drawing hairs in the same direction, the same length and thickness. The shape of the brow arches eventually becomes similar to a specially laid arch using a brush and gel.

These microblading techniques are very popular, because thanks to them the brow arches acquire expressiveness and a beautiful shape. And although microblading is characterized by a low level of pain and speed of execution, there is still a risk of uneven pigmentation. Especially if, during the healing process, the crusts will peel off in pieces. Reviews of the masters claim that the hair eyebrow microblading technique is gaining momentum in popularity. More often this type of tattoo is preferred by girls with sparse hairs of the brow arches. Thanks to manual execution, the eyebrows are corrected very carefully, which we see in the photo. The shape is slightly curved, beautiful.

Shadow technique

To create bright, pronounced brow arches shown in the photo, the masters use the shadow technique of eyebrow microblading.

This technique is carried out in three different ways:

  • Shot. Today, this option is almost never used, because the result is unnatural eyebrows.
  • Shadow technique. Allows you to shade the brow arches in the right places.
  • The shading technique is the most popular. It implies the introduction of pigment to the points where tinting is required.

Eyebrow microblading shadow technique allows you to get long-term results. The healing process proceeds quite quickly. After 10-12 days, the brow arches acquire a natural appearance. If you need to make the eyebrows brighter and more expressive, the master uses the shadow application of pigments. If corrected, microblading will last up to 2 years.

Powder coating

The powder spraying technique of eyebrow microblading is carried out by soft shading of the pigment. Thanks to this approach, the eyebrows look like they were drawn with a cosmetic pencil or shadows. The hairs become tender and voluminous. Reviews of the masters claim that the powder technique is relevant for blondes. Sometimes, in order to achieve the best effect, cosmetologists combine two methods, which as a result allows you to get voluminous and natural brow arches.

6D technique

The 6D eyebrow microblading technique involves carefully drawing each hair individually. This is a very painstaking work that allows you to create beautiful, voluminous brow arches. No machine is used to achieve the unique 6D effect. The process of tattooing is carried out manually. It is impossible to achieve a unique effect and volume of eyebrows with the help of a typewriter. An experienced master carefully draws each hair, making it difficult to distinguish the drawn 6D arcs from natural ones.
