Hygiene and disinfection: components of high-quality permanent makeup
Health is above all!
The hygienic aspect of the procedure is an integral part of high-quality permanent makeup. What are the requirements for a tattoo parlor/studio?
The hygienic aspect of the procedure is an integral part of high-quality permanent makeup. According to sanitary and hygienic standards, any beauty salon or permanent makeup studio has the following requirements:
• foremen must carry out mandatory disinfection of all equipment, surfaces and objects at the workplace (especially those that the foreman touched with gloves during the procedure) with special preparations that exclude the possibility of contracting AIDS and hepatitis;
• during the procedure, the master must use only disposable gloves, and dispose of them immediately after the procedure;
• during the procedure, the master must use disposable cups for pigments;
• needles for procedures should be only disposable, they must be disposed of immediately after the procedure in containers intended for this purpose, in no case should they be thrown into baskets and containers for household waste;
• before putting on gloves, the master must apply a disinfectant to his hands;
• all sterile packed consumables are opened only in front of the client;
• cotton pads, sticks should be disposed of immediately after their use;
• if there are towels or bedspreads in the office intended for multiple use, they must be washed at a temperature of 90 ° ;
• do not use floor carpets in the design of the cabinet;
• do not use living plants in the cabinet design (the earth is an ideal breeding ground for fungi and bacteria)
A neat and properly organized workplace from the first minutes of the client's stay in the office speaks of the qualifications and style of the master's work, and inspires confidence. It is sad that until now some masters save on hygiene products: even at exhibitions and other presentation events they work without gloves or use disposable gloves several times, working with different clients, without thinking about the possible consequences.
Sometimes novice masters “sin” by reusing disposable needles for permanent makeup correction. In this case, the progressive multiplication of bacteria in 3-4 weeks (the time from the first session to the correction) will certainly lead to infection. For experienced professionals, the health of the client is a priority, so they never save on hygiene products and know that their reputation depends on the outcome of the procedure. The permanent make-up procedure is a great opportunity to change the image, emphasize the natural beauty, and correct the asymmetry. But it makes sense for the client to think that health is above all.
