Sterilization using dry heat

Sterilization of reusable instruments is the most important requirement that ensures the safety of the manicure procedure. Dry zhar is a device for complete disinfection of instruments under the influence of hot, dry air constantly circulating in the chamber of the device.

Instruments that need to be sterilized are placed in a removable metal tray with holes. Sukhozhar operates from the network. Each device has temperature and time regulators. The temperature is selected depending on what material the instruments are made of.

Methods for processing tools in dry heat

There are two ways to process the tool:

1) the usual layout of tools in a horizontal position, which assumes that objects do not touch each other, while air circulates freely throughout the dry-heat chamber. After such sterilization, instruments should be used immediately;

2) loading tools into special craft bags (made of craft paper, which can withstand high temperatures well). In this way, you can sterilize several bags of instruments at the same time. Before loading Kraft bags, you need to remove the adhesive tape from them. Each bag has a special indicator, and when it turns brown, it means the sterilization process can be completed. The bags can then be sealed and the instruments can be stored for up to a month.

What is the difference between an autoclave and a dry heater?

An autoclave (steam sterilizer), unlike a dry heater, operates from hot steam, which is supplied under pressure. The operating power of steam on instruments is higher than the temperature itself, so complete sterilization occurs. An autoclave as a manicure sterilizer works on the principle of a pressure cooker. At the same time, an important distinguishing feature of the operation of this device is the minimum temperature of exposure to instruments and the reduction of time for sterilization.

How to work with dry heat?

1. Connect the sterilizer to the network by connecting the cable included in the kit. After switching on, the red light should light up as a signal that the device is ready for use.

2. Place the instruments using the chosen method in the tray and close the lid.

3. Set the desired time for sterilization using the timer and turn on the device.

4. Using the temperature regulator, set the desired mode - as the tendon heats up, the green light will periodically turn on. When the device heats up, it will burn constantly.

5. After the characteristic timer signal, the sterilization process is considered complete.

6. Turn off the device and remove the tray using special rings that are attached to the sides of the hot tray body.

7. Remove manicure tools.
