Nail whitening baths that work
For every taste

For home nail care, including whitening, baths are ideal, which clients can do on their own. We tell you in the material what options to pay attention to.
There are many homemade ways to whiten your nails so that they look beautiful and well-groomed after removing the coating. However, it is important not to harm your nails, so we recommend choosing only proven methods and products. We have selected several effective and safe options for nail whitening baths that we can recommend to our clients.
Salt bath
A salt bath is considered the easiest and simplest nail whitening procedure available to everyone at home. Dissolve one tablespoon of sea salt in a glass of warm water. Immerse your fingers in the water for 15-20 minutes. Take your hands out and rinse them in clean water. Then apply a nourishing cream to the skin and aromatic oil to the cuticles. Use the bath twice a week to see results. By the way, nail specialists recommend giving salt baths to clients after unsuccessful removal of gel polish, for example, at home during quarantine.
Chamomile decoction
Another bath for whitening nails that will not harm your nails is chamomile decoction. To prepare it, pour a tablespoon of dried flowers into a bowl and pour a glass of boiling water, then wait 30-40 minutes. When the liquid has cooled, put your hands in it and wait about half an hour. Try to take baths with chamomile infusion every day for a month to make your nails lighter and the skin of your hands silkier.
Essential oils
You can use essential oils to whiten your nails either alone or in the form of baths. They also strengthen the nail plate, prevent splitting and soften the cuticle. You can wipe your nails with essential oils in the morning and evening for several weeks, and the oils of lemon, grapefruit, bergamot and rosemary are best suited for this purpose. To prepare the baths, dilute a few drops of the concentrate in warm water and immerse your hands in it for 15-20 minutes.
