If you do not yet use massage candles in your work, we recommend that you get to know them better. Perhaps they will become the element of the manicure procedure for which clients will return to you.

Massage candles for manicure: what are they?

Massage candles are similar to regular candles, but when burned, they transform into a fragrant massage oil that can be used on the entire body. Due to their composition, such products improve blood circulation, relax muscles and can even soothe the skin and eliminate pain. Their peculiarity is that they do not burn the skin, but only slightly warm it.

Massage candles, intended specifically for manicure, are a composition of essential and vegetable oils that are very useful for the skin of the hands, cuticles and nail plates and have a fairly strong cosmetic effect. As a base, experts use beeswax or soy wax, or solid cocoa and coconut oils. Also in the composition you can find extracts of plants and fruits - lavender, vanilla, ginger, citrus fruits and berries.

After using a massage candle, the skin of your hands becomes soft, tender to the touch and smooth, the nail plate is saturated with beneficial components, and the cuticle is moisturized. Candles can also be used for paraffin therapy.

How to use a massage candle?

To begin, light the candle and give it about five minutes to start melting. After this time, extinguish the manicure massage candle, pour a little liquid oil mixture onto your palm and, gently massaging, rub it into the dry skin of your hands, cuticles and nails. Excess can be removed with a paper napkin.

Please note that candle manufacturers also often produce glass candle holders that are equipped with special spouts for easy pouring of the mixture onto the skin.

After the massage, there is no need to wash off the oil: it is quickly absorbed and has a caring effect, increasing the firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Why does a manicurist need massage candles?

Masters have long practiced a pleasant massage in their work as the final stage of a manicure or pedicure procedure. If you carry out this ritual with the help of a massage candle, we are sure that your clients will appreciate such relaxation. And if previously such products were used only in elite spa salons, now everyone can afford them as part of salon and even home procedures.

Moreover, massage candles have a magical aroma, so you can guarantee your clients not only a hand massage, but also real aromatherapy. In winter, choose invigorating citrus scents reminiscent of the New Year holidays, or sticky and cozy chocolate scents. Floral and berry scents are ideal for the summer season.

Thus, thanks to the relaxing effect and aromatherapy, clients receive not just a massage, but a real ritual of relaxation, eliminating fatigue and relieving stress. Isn’t that what we are all looking for in this incredibly fast world?
