Do you think clients will change nail technicians or refuse manicure services after quarantine?

During quarantine, we first of all test ourselves for integrity and effectiveness. We have already changed. Quarantine has created boundaries for some, and opened them for others. I think change is inevitable! After all, each of the clients saw their master in so-called unstable circumstances.

And here it is important how the master will behave in this situation. Will he remember his favorite client? Will he give him time? Will you give advice on skin and nail care? Or will she cry and blame everything and everyone? In ordinary life, the client needs care, but during quarantine, the master must also wrap him in a blanket.

On the other hand, salons and craftsmen working according to the law cannot serve the client. And, of course, many girls will go to masters who work at home. But in this case, you should not be nervous and worry - these are temporary changes.

How can masters retain clients at the moment?

I have some advice.

Strengthen your customer relationships . Work with them remotely, because now is the ideal time for your communication. Call and find out how they are doing, how their hands are doing.

Give us some advice. Show that you care about your clients by giving tips on how to care for your nails and skin at home.

Monitor your recording after quarantine. Remind the girls of their favorite nail polish shades that will be waiting for them after quarantine is over.

Keep a blog. Now is the time to start your blog. You can start with the most relevant topics: how to remove coatings at home, what to do if a nail is broken, how to make a homemade hand scrub, and so on.

In order not to lose clients, become an SOS button for them, a call to 911. Remember, man goes to man. Be it!

What changes await the salon industry? Will craftsmen go to work at home?

I’m sure there will be a boom after the quarantine ends. Just imagine: the woman was in isolation for two months. I stood at the stove, washed dishes, and cooked every day. And at the first opportunity he will run to the salon! More than ever, she will need the service that the masters will have to provide.

Will clients save money? Of course, the crisis will make itself felt. They will save money, but will not refuse services.

For a master to go home is to take a step back in his development, service, level of expertise and lose wealthy clients. A solvent person will always go to the salon. Don't make a mistake that could lead to professional burnout.

How will the pricing policy change?

We have not yet come out of quarantine, and professional costs have already increased. Prices have skyrocketed not only because of the exchange rate of the dollar or euro and mass hysteria - the global economic crisis is affecting us. Suppliers are already setting new prices, and everyone should be prepared for this. The main thing is not to be afraid to raise the cost of services, otherwise you will have to work for food and forget about your own development.

What should manicurists do now to make the way out of the crisis as easy as possible?

Of course, develop! Online education allows you to learn and not forget who you really are. It helps to reveal a new side of yourself, find new hobbies and interests, as well as ways to earn money. You will begin to value yourself more, love yourself more, rise in your esteem as a professional, and become an expert in your industry. Online education will make you more confident in your abilities, which means you won’t be afraid to raise prices for services after leaving quarantine and won’t take a step back!
