Today we'll talk about His Majesty French!

So! French is complex and unique in that when creating it, the entire process is divided into several stages, sometimes irreversible. This means that if you mess up, there is no turning back. So let's look at the most common mistakes you make!

Uneven layout of the extension bed

The bed is made of more material than required by the architecture. If you look at the end, there are unevenly distributed “piles” of material on one side or the other. As a result, the master cannot objectively assess the shape, length and height of the layout.

The most common misconception in this case is that it’s better to post it quickly, at random, and then file it down! But in fact, you are delayed at the laying out stage, calculating the prospects, then you spend time cutting off the excess, while losing the purity of the work and the form.

How to fix? It is better to immediately work with minimal sawing, laying out a certain amount of material that is required.

Antennae concentration and sides

When laying out the extension bed, you do not pay attention to the height of the material in the area of your future mustache, reducing it to nothing as well as along the entire circumference of the periphery. This does not create a so-called border along the edge of the smile. And in the future, there is nowhere to put a file to cut this very side and, as a result, the smile has no clear boundaries. As a result, during the completion of the free edge, it falls on top, and cleanliness is back to normal! Moreover, we lose whiskers after a superficial filing because we failed to properly create the necessary recess for them.

How to fix? The solution to this problem is to lay out material from the growth points to a height of approximately 1 mm. In this case, the upper edge of the material should also protrude above the lower one by 0.5-1 mm. Accordingly, you also need to cut at an angle.

Decorating the free edge

Well, the most creative moment in the process of creating a French jacket is decorating the free edge. It is important to remember that we must place all the most voluminous elements as close to the side of the extension as possible, otherwise we risk cutting down our entire beautiful design if we place it closer to the end.
