Maximum security
What is a Brazilian manicure, what are its advantages and how to perform it correctly - we understand the material.
Features of Brazilian manicure
Brazilian manicure is one of the variations of unedged European manicure, so it can be called one of the safest for clients. In this case, the risk of infection is minimized as much as possible, because the skin of the hands and body are not injured. Moreover, the master uses only disposable tools.
One of the main distinguishing features of a Brazilian manicure is soaking the skin with gloves filled with a special cream emulsion. After this, the cuticle is moved back or cleaned with an orange stick.
Benefits of Brazilian manicure
In addition to the obvious safety of the Brazilian manicure, several more of its advantages can be highlighted.
Save time. This type of manicure is performed twice as fast as a classic edged or hardware one . Firstly, in the case of a Brazilian manicure there is no preliminary preparation, and secondly, the procedure itself for removing and pushing back the cuticle takes less time.
Lightness and simplicity . Even a beginner can perform a Brazilian manicure on a client without fear of making a serious mistake.
Saving money . A Brazilian manicure can be called one of the most budget-friendly procedures for a master, because the costs are minimal. All products and instruments are disposable, so there is no need to purchase equipment and products for disinfection and sterilization.
Gentle care . The emulsion that fills the gloves cares for the skin of the hands and nails, providing hydration and nutrition. And if you put thermal mittens on top of the gloves, the manicure will turn into a real spa ritual.
The Brazilian manicure has no disadvantages as such, but it is important to understand that it is not suitable for working with rough and dense skin, since the composition of the emulsion will not be able to soften it efficiently.
Brazilian manicure kit
To perform a Brazilian manicure, you will need a special set, which is available for sale from many nail product manufacturers. This typically includes a pair of emulsion-impregnated gloves, disposable orange sticks, and a disposable nail file. Sometimes the set can be supplemented with thermal mittens or a towel.
How to perform a Brazilian manicure?
Step 1. Treat the client's hands with antiseptic. Shape your nails and, if necessary, polish off any rough spots on the side ridges with a nail file.
Step 2. Put gloves on your hands and distribute the emulsion evenly, massaging the skin. Put on thermal mittens or wrap your hands in a towel.
Step 3. After 15 minutes, remove the towel or mittens and trim the edges of the gloves with scissors, freeing the fingertips.
Step 4: If the cuticle is detached, remove it with an orange stick. In other areas, move it to the base of the nail.
Step 5. Remove gloves and spread the remaining emulsion over the client's hands. Apply cuticle oil if necessary.
