What are the main advantages of airbrushing and why do you personally like this method of creating designs?
The main advantage is the speed in creating designs. The gradient can be done on all nails in 2-3 minutes. There are no equal airbrushes in terms of speed. Personally, I like this method for its inexhaustible possibilities and designs that are absolutely not similar to any other technique.
What products and tools are needed to create airbrush on nails? What should a master buy according to your advice?
To create designs, the master must have: an airbrush, compressor, paints and stencils. Of course, it is important to be able to master this technique and understand how to make a design wearable.
How to choose a quality airbrush? What is important to pay attention to?
First of all, you need to pay attention to the instructor. And what recommendations he gives on training and purchasing equipment. We prefer double independent action airbrushes with a 0.2 nozzle. So that we can work as cleanly as possible on miniature surfaces - nails, and can also work purely in contrast.
What nail design options are especially beautiful using airbrush? What techniques are worth learning to implement?
Airbrushing is the application of paint using air, which means unique aerial designs. To bring them to life, mastery of techniques is required. The most basic ones are gradient and contour. It also involves folding various stencils and combining various airbrush application techniques.
What mistakes do craftsmen often make when working with an airbrush?
The most common mistake is to buy a device and think that everything will work out by itself, and the client will wear this design without any problems until correction. In such cases, the opposite always happens - the device is clogged and the client returns a few days later with chipped material. Airbrush is a technique that needs to be mastered, which means learning.
Where would you recommend learning this type of coating and painting?
Of course, we would recommend studying this type of nail art with us at SHARN. We are the authors of our techniques and designs; we have hundreds of successfully working students behind us who have completed the “Air Brush” course.
