Vanadey: a collection of creative images
2021 AHIA Competition Winner
The images in this collection are inspired by nature, namely the forest and its intricacies. The creators tried to recreate the lines and weaves from hair, and what came out of it - see the material.
Vanadey is the goddess of the forest, who charmed the creators of the collection with her stories. Each image is inspired by small wonders of nature: a tree knot twists in frozen motion, cobwebs are wet and glistening between the branches, moss spreads haphazardly across the forest floor, and a dandelion sprouts randomly as it reaches for the warmth of the sun.
The collection captures the essence of the simple and complex beauty hidden in the small and sometimes unnoticed intricacies of the forest. This highlights how we often underestimate or simply don't appreciate our unique natural beauty.
