Multilayer haircut is a definition that means that when creating a haircut, the “layer” cutting technique is used. The essence of this technique is that it creates separation in the hair, providing maximum texture.

Multilayer haircuts are divided into three main types:

- rounded;

- flat;

- elongated.

Rounded. With this shape, you emphasize the shape of the client's head, since each strand is cut at a 90-degree angle relative to its height.

Flat. This shape will also help to correct the shape of the head, since the entire section is cut into a flat projection, hiding the roundness of the head.

Elongated. This shape elongates the silhouette while maintaining maximum contour length and shorter top lengths as each strand is cut at more than 90 degrees.

All three options for layered haircuts can be combined to create the desired shape, which depends on the individual characteristics of the client.

A universal multi-layered haircut does not require special care. It is easy to style and, more importantly, suitable for long, medium and short hair. Curly, slightly wavy and straight curls are suitable for creating layers.
