Monochrome makeup in chocolate shades: step-by-step technology with photos

Monochrome makeup is a makeup in which the makeup artist uses beauty products of the same color or several shades in a single color scheme. This trend came to us from the 90s and gained popularity due to its harmony, simplicity and minimal investment of time and products. If you wish and have the necessary knowledge, you can create a mono-makeup with just one cosmetic product!

Another advantage of makeup in one color is that it can easily convey the desired mood. If your client is going on a date, choose romantic soft pink shades, if for a business meeting - soft cream or beige, and if for a bright party - a spectacular red will be incredibly appropriate.

Today we show and tell, together with makeup artist Evgenia Elisova , how to step by step create monochrome eye makeup in chocolate shades, and then complement it with lipstick in the corresponding brown color. What products you will need, where to start and how to use lipstick as a base for eye shadow - we will reveal all the secrets below!

Step 1. Apply Primer for Face Skin Brightener to the skin and tone the face with HD base in shade No. 2.

Step 2. Comb out the eyebrows with a brush and fix the resulting shape with transparent gel. Fill in the voids with an eyebrow pencil and brush.

Step 3. Use matte lipstick in shade No. 25 as a base for the shadows, apply it to the upper and lower eyelids.

Step 4. We form the shape with baked shadows in shade No. 4, visually stretching the outer corner of the eye towards the temple. We highlight the moving eyelid and the inner corner of the eye.

Step 5. Color the eyelash line of the upper and lower eyelids with a pencil in the shade Brown. We glue tufts to the outer corner of the eye and paint the eyelashes with Volume mascara.

Step 6. Use long-lasting matte lipstick in shade No. 25 to shape your lips. Apply a highlight with transparent gloss to the center of the lower lip.
