Makeup with gothic notes: step-by-step technology with photos

Unexpected summer look

Logo

Gothic and punk chic are taking center stage in makeup this summer, despite the popularity of bright colors in seasonal looks. How to create a current makeup look in this style - we tell and show in the material.

Gothic and punk subcultures have long inspired designers, makeup artists and hair stylists with their aesthetics, and summer 2021 was no exception. For seasonal looks, makeup artists at fashion weeks created makeup options with hints of dark romanticism, including massive black eyeliner, dark eye shadow and lipstick.

Makeup artist Daria Shelest demonstrates how to replicate current gothic style makeup to inspire yourself and your clients to create an original and unconventional look, as well as what products you will need for this.

Step 1 . Apply Color Me makeup base to the entire face. Tint using foundation in shade No. 2.

Step 2. Model the face with corrective powder No. 30. Shade the eyebrows with a pencil in shade No. Ps77. Add blush in shade No. 31.

Step 3. Use a base for the shadows. We work out the shape of the eye with Couture Collection shadows No. 63, and golden shadows from the Couture Collection eyeshadow palette No. 84.

Step 4. Draw the eyelash row with Intense Pearly Eye Liner No. PE4, and paint the mucous part of the eye with black pencil No. 201.

Step 5. Paint the eyelashes with Fashion Look mascara and add decorative eyelashes.

Step 6. Outline the shape of the lips with Color Me pencil No. sl01, cover them with Luscious lipstick No. 920 and decorate them with loose shiny pigment No. 41.
