Makeup removers: what does a makeup artist need?
Efficient and convenient

The beauty market offers a huge selection of makeup removers, but how to choose exactly those that are necessary for the work of a makeup artist? Let's figure out what is important to pay attention to.
Properly removing makeup is just as important as applying it. There are several makeup removers in the beauty industry, each of which performs its own functions and is excellent for removing a particular cosmetic product.
Makeup remover milk
This product is able to dissolve makeup cosmetics and cleanse the skin of the face. At the same time, the milk acts very gently, does not dry the skin or irritate it, but on the contrary, promotes delicate cleansing and removal of peeling. Convenient for use by makeup artists, as it does not require washing with water.
How to use? The milk should be applied liberally to the skin and massaged. Afterwards it should be carefully removed with cotton pads. The makeup artist can finish the procedure with toner. At home, the skin cleansing process may include an additional cleanser such as foam, gel or lotion.
Hydrophilic oil
Hydrophilic oil is great for removing thick and persistent eye, lip and face makeup. It instantly dissolves makeup, and upon contact with water it turns into a light serum and is conveniently washed off. The product does not leave a greasy film on the face, does not contribute to excessive sebum production and is great for all skin types.
How to use? Hydrophilic oil is applied to dry skin along massage lines, and after complete dissolution of decorative cosmetics, it is washed off with water (at home) or using a damp cotton pad, which is extremely convenient when a makeup artist is working.
Micellar water
Micellar water is an excellent product for removing makeup from eyes, lips and facial skin. The product is saturated with tiny particles of fatty acid esters (micelles), which absorb dirt and quickly remove makeup. Micellar water easily dissolves even stubborn beauty products, but for waterproof ones, you should still choose another makeup remover.
How to use? Apply micellar water to a cotton pad and wipe your face, removing eye and lip makeup if necessary. After this, it is important to wash your face or wipe your face with a damp cotton pad to remove any remaining surfactants from the skin.
Two-component makeup remover
This beauty product is half made up of oil, which separates from the overall composition in a calm state. Two-component makeup removers can remove makeup of any complexity and durability, from waterproof products to matte lipsticks, pigments and glitter.
How to use? Shake the jar well enough to mix the two layers of product. Apply the product to a cotton pad and remove makeup. To get rid of the oily film on the skin, you can use additional cleanser. In limited conditions, wipe the skin with a damp cotton pad and apply toner.
