In this ethnic collection, stylist Nicole Kae draws on traditional Peruvian culture and fashion—vibrant, an explosive kaleidoscope of color and texture. Inca Rising proclaims the cult of female power.

The name of the collection translated means “revolt of the Incas” – representatives of the Indian civilization. Fierce warriors and skilled artisans, the Incas managed to conquer and build a large empire in South America, and women fought for their place in the sun along with men.

Coarse fibers of untreated fabric, llama and alpaca wool, colored feathers - hairstyles effectively demonstrate the ancient spirit of freedom of the Incas and reflect their way of life. Braids, artificial colored strands, deliberate contrast of shades are designed to reflect the fighting spirit and proclaim the cult of women's freedom even today, ten centuries later. And the combination of textures in clothes and dynamic hairstyles in a boho style emphasizes the versatility of images. Such a woman will win any battle of empires!

AHFA makeup artist Mikele Simone brought to life the captivating beauty of Inca women with tanned war paint, while hair photography maestro Andrew O'Toole brought out the magic of a warrior woman's gaze.
