Gothic style makeup: step-by-step technology with photos

Spectacular look

Logo

We tell and show how to repeat creative makeup in a gothic style with green lips and brown-burgundy shades on the eyelids.

Gothic makeup is unlikely to be suitable for a commercial look, but for a party, photography or themed event it is what you need. We suggest repeating not the most classic, but noteworthy gothic makeup look, for which you will need not black eyeliner, but gold and green, and instead of red or cherry lipstick, we suggest betting on green.

Ready to try?

Step 1. Apply a radiant base and foundation to pre-cleaned skin. Set with powder.

Step 2. Perform dry oval correction, add blush and highlighter to the protruding parts of the face.

Step 3. Cover the upper eyelid with creamy cherry eyeshadow. We shade the borders.

Step 4. Fix with dry shadows of the same color and darken the inner corner of the eye with black shadows.

Step 5. We also darken the outer corner of the eye with black shadows and apply bright orange shadows to the color stretching area.

Step 6. On the lower eyelid we use cherry shadows and darken it towards the lash line. We highlight the inner corner of the eye with loose turquoise pigment with a metallic effect.

Step 7. Apply the same turquoise pigment to the moving part of the eyelid. Draw a golden arrow. We make the tail of the arrow bronze.

Step 8. We decorate the eyebrows using a fantasy color combination. In this case, in blue and brown tones.

Step 9. Cover the lips with matte turquoise lipstick. After hardening, paint over the folds with gold pigment.
