Fire collection: drag queen makeup and hairstyles
Fire!

If you're ready to dive into the vibrant world of extravagant drag queen culture, welcome!
Drag makeup is an important element of the image of any drag queen, which is a separate and extremely interesting phenomenon. In this case, makeup allows you to express yourself and even create a new personality.
Since the anatomy of a man’s face is different from a woman’s, and all drag queens pursue the goal of appearing as a woman (the way they imagine her), then there are similarities in their makeup. One of these elements is enhanced contouring, characteristic of a woman’s face, since, according to a man’s scheme, slightly other parts of the face are darkened.
Elements characteristic of drag makeup also include spectacular smokey eyes, lush false eyelashes, sufficiently graphic eyebrows and bright lip makeup. The remaining attributes of makeup depend on the style to which a particular drag queen gravitates. These can be sparkles, rhinestones, stones, graphic makeup elements, feathers, meshes and so on.
Of course, drag queens cannot do without voluminous wigs, which help to further emphasize the femininity of the image. Lera Gornostay, a famous hair stylist, who has hundreds of celebrity clips and photo shoots for glossy magazines, presented a collection of spectacular drag looks using wigs of her own production. Makeup artists Evgenia Spiktorenko and Natalya Malyukevich worked on the makeup.
Lera Ermine comments on her work:
“There is a drag queen movement in our country. The artists perform in women's clothing and wigs, creating a spectacular show. And I really want our Ukrainian direction to reach the international level.
The Queens and Burlesque project revitalized me and diversified the work tasks that other people usually set for me. And here is free creativity, do what you want. You can work with broad strokes, turns, waves, which are unacceptable in everyday life.
During the existence of Queens and Burlesque, I met many absolutely extraordinary guys, because they are artists of a completely different type. I learned new techniques in creating wigs that I had never used before, and this greatly supported me in my daily work.”
