Body art can be safely called a separate form of art. We suggest following the true artists of our time on Instagram to get inspired and charged with beauty every day.

Body art used to come out of the shadows only during festivals and Halloween, but today it has formed into an independent direction and is an incredible form of art. We have collected in our material five masters of body art, whose creative potential is in full swing, and whose works are simply mesmerizing. Let's get to know them better!

Mimi Choi

You've probably heard of Mimi Choi more than once - this incredibly talented girl lives and creates in Canada, and her works with the effect of optical illusions are known all over the world. It was she who created Ezra Miller's creative makeup at the Met Gala, which the entire beauty world then talked about. Mimi draws inspiration from the patterns, shapes and textures that surround her, as well as from surreal paintings and hallucinations that she sees due to a sleep disorder.

Mimi prefers not to look at the work of contemporary makeup and body painters to protect her work from outside influences. Instead, she looks at her past work to track her growth as an artist.

Natalie Fletcher

Natalie loves to paint patterns and landscapes, as well as create optical illusions that will send shivers down your spine. She discovered her passion for body painting when she was just 15 years old. Just a few years later, she became the winner of the GSN reality show Skin Wars and the creator of the Oh Beautiful body painting project, which resulted in 102 incredible works of art created all over the United States.

As part of the project, Natalie camouflaged people so that they could not be found against the background of buildings or nature. At the moment, the talented artist has published a book under the same name Oh Beautiful, which contains the results of a huge 200-day work.

The number of Trina's subscribers is growing every day, because watching her work is incredibly interesting.

Andy Golub

Andy is a world-renowned body painter whose work has been exhibited around the world. He is pioneering creative freedom by founding the non-profit Human Connection Arts and an annual public art show featuring dozens of naked men and women who serve as canvases for the paintings that artists create in the name of art. The vibrant colors, catchy slogans, incredible patterns and prints are enough to keep you gazing at the show's subjects for hours.

"Everyone thinks being naked is weird. But it's really who we are," Golub says in an interview, adding that his body painting helps him cope with nudity.

Emma Fay

Experienced British body painter Emma Fay focuses on work that challenges visual perception. Her manipulation of the human form is inspired by evolution, surrealism and symbolic expressionism. At first you see an animal, nature or building in her work, but if you look closely you begin to discern legs and arms, and then the entire barely visible human body.

Emma's work has been featured internationally in leading publications such as The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Huffington Post.
