Men's cosmetology is developing on a par with women's. But these are really different concepts, different features of the approach and psychological mood of patients of both sexes.
The relevance of gender specificity is increasing every year, research activities from both sexes are developing more and more, and male injection aesthetics are changing a lot, adapting to the psycho-emotional characteristics of men. Men often want to completely hide their visits to the cosmetologist and the traces of his manipulations, besides the high requirements to preserve male features or even emphasize them even more. These requests have become the standard of injection procedures of a modern doctor of aesthetic medicine.
Men start aging much later than women. This is due to different blood circulation, the content of more collagen types 4-6 in the skin in connection with a higher level of testosterone, which ensures oiliness and thickening of the skin.
The gender feature of men is also a psychological aspect. They are afraid of injections and pain, so they do not like course procedures, but prefer quick and long-lasting drugs. Botulinum therapy and contour plastic are very popular. As for the implementation of post-injection recommendations, men are the most disciplined.
