Bogomolets Olga
Olga Bogomolets - dermatologist, dermato-oncologist, honored doctor of Ukraine, doctor of medical sciences, professor, founder of the Institute of Dermatology and Cosmetology of Dr. Bogomolets, Bogomolets Clinic and Dermpath LAB - the first laboratory of pathomorphological diagnosis of skin diseases and tumors in Ukraine.
Olga Vadimivna is the author of more than 70 scientific works and 16 patents in the field of treatment of skin diseases. A doctor in the sixth generation, the great-granddaughter of academician Oleksandr Bogomolets - the creator of the Ukrainian school of pathology, president of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
Olga Bogomolets is considered a pioneer of laser medicine in Ukraine, she was one of the first specialists in Ukraine who used a medical laser in cosmetology and dermatology.
- In 1991, she started removing skin tumors using a domestic CO2 laser. The laser machine was huge and took up an entire room;
- In 1996, she was the first in Ukraine to perform laser removal of hemangiomas and vascular malformations using the Rhodamine SPTL 1B laser from Candela (USA);
- In 1998, Gentle-Candela (USA) was the first in Ukraine to perform laser hair removal using an alexandrite laser;
- In 1999, the first in Ukraine performed laser grinding with an erbium laser of the Asclepion company (Germany).
Today, Bogomolets Clinic operates a fleet of the most modern American, Israeli, and German lasers, which allow successful removal of couperosis and telangiectasias, hemangiomas, and vascular malformations, photorejuvenation, smoothing scars and stretch marks, and laser hair removal.
In 2021, the Olga Bogomolets clinic received the Stella International Beauty Awards as the best laser medicine clinic in Ukraine.
